CDC Forest
CDC Forest is a green cotyledon, semi-leafless field pea variety. In 11 years of testing in the co-op and regional trials in Saskatchewan, CDC Forest is the top yielding green pea currently available in both the north and south. It yields 3% higher than CDC Greenwater in the south and 15% higher in the north. CDC Forest has PBR’91 protection.
Statistical analysis of 9 years of long-term RVT data ranked CDC Forest 3rd from the top for yield in the south and 5th in the north among 8 historical and new green pea varieties.
