CDC Greenwater is a green cotyledon, semi-leafless field pea variety. CDC Greenwater has long vine length and very good lodging resistance. In 11 years of testing in the Saskatchewan co-op and regional trials, CDC Greenwater yielded 99% of CDC Amarillo in the south and 93% in the north. CDC Greenwater does not have PBR protection.
Statistical analysis of 9 years of long-term RVT data ranked CDC Greenwater 3rd from the top for yield in the south and 5th in the north among 8 historical and new green pea varieties.
