In 12 years of testing in the Co-op and Regional trials in Saskatchewan, CDC Spectrum yielded 105% of the check variety CDC Amarillo in the southern regions and 103% in the north. CDC Spectrum has high protein (+0.7% vs. CDC Amarillo). It also has very good standability. CDC Spectrum has PBR’91 protection.
Statistical analysis of 8 years of long-term RVT data ranked CDC Spectrum 6th from the top for yield in the south and 9th in the north among 16 historical and new yellow pea varieties.
